My first post.

Every story has a beginning.

This one starts with a aspiration I've carried for a long time: to become an author and, one day, to share a world of my own with readers who love Fantasy as much as I do.

If you've found your way here, welcome. I'm incredibly humbled by you taking the time to be here.

For as long as I can remember, I've been fascinated by stories that take us somewhere beyond the familiar — worlds filled with magic, ancient mysteries, impossible places, dangerous journeys and characters who are forced to discover who they really are along the way.

I've spent countless hours losing myself in these worlds as a reader.

Now, I'm attempting something rather different.

I'm trying to create one.

The Psycharium

I'm currently around 50,000 words into my first novel, The Psycharium, which is planned as the first book in a three-book High Fantasy series.

It's both exhilarating and slightly terrifying to finally be able to say that.

There is still a long road ahead. There are chapters yet to be written, characters still finding their voices, countless ideas to wrestle into something coherent and, I suspect, more than a few moments where I'll wonder exactly what I've gotten myself into.

But the story is taking shape.

And for me, that feels like something worth sharing.

This website will be a place where I can document that journey: the writing, the world-building, the challenges, the discoveries and, eventually, the road toward publication.

I'm not a published author yet.

But perhaps that's what makes this the perfect time to start.

Rather than appearing here one day with a finished book and simply announcing it, I'd love for this site to be the place where the journey begins.

50,000 words down. A lot more to go.

If you're interested in Fantasy, in the process of writing a novel, or simply curious to see whether an aspiring author can actually turn an idea into a finished trilogy, I hope you'll come along for the ride.

And hopefully, before too much longer, The Psycharium will leave my desk and find its way into your hands.

Until then, thank you for being here.

The journey has begun.
